How to Get to Mamanguá
The most used access is by boat from Paraty-Mirim. The crossing takes 20–40 min and local boatmen negotiate destinations within the Saco.

1. FROM PARATY → PARATY-MIRIM
Car: ~30 min via BR-101 (km 154.5, entrance on the right). Bus: regular line with timetables at Paraty bus station.
2. FROM PARATY-MIRIM → MAMANGUÁ
Boat: local boatmen at the Paraty-Mirim pier. 20–40 min crossing depending on destination in Saco. Negotiate directly — prices vary by destination and number of people.
3. TRAIL (PARATY-MIRIM → MAMANGUÁ)
Difficult long-distance trail crossing the Juatinga Reserve. Recommended only with an experienced guide and excellent physical fitness.
4. OCEAN KAYAK (2–3 DAYS)
Specialized agencies offer kayaking expeditions through Saco, sleeping in caiçara communities. Immersive and ecological experience.
