The sand takes on reddish tones in the late-afternoon light, giving this small boat-access beach its name. Pinkish sand, clear water, and dense vegetation create an unusual setting within Paraty Bay.

How to get there

Access is by boat only. Schooners and private speedboats leave from Pontal, and many traditional bay itineraries include a stop here. Travel time depends on the vessel and route.

Calm and crystal clear. Good for swimming and snorkeling. Moderate depth.
