The peak on the border between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, within the Serra do Mar State Park. The trail is physically demanding due to the constant slope (+350 m in 2.35 km), but without technical sections. At the top: one of the most complete views of the Costa Verde — Costa Verde on the left, Paraty in the center, Ubatuba and Mantiqueira on the right.

The trail connects four practically virgin beaches along the edge of the Juatinga Reserve, alternating between stretches of sand, rocks and Atlantic forest. It is the most accessible section of the Travessia da Juatinga — and the most rewarding per kilometer.

The Juatinga Lighthouse is a small, deactivated historic lighthouse that marks the geographic boundary between the open ocean and the bay. The sunrise from here, with the open Atlantic ahead, is among the most epic moments on Costa Verde.
